DescriptionOn Back: HENDERSON COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY, 301 North Washington St., Hendersonville, N. C., This attractive building was completed in 1970 at a cost of over a half million dollars and is quite an asset to the City. The original Library was started in 1914 and was housed in a one story building. Since then it has grown steadily. It serves the people of Henderson County and vicinity.
