DescriptionMemorial Stadium was built in 1923 by the firm of Holibard and Roche. The stadium was originally planned for tennis, baseball, field hockey, etc. The structure has 182 pillars, honoring the 182 students that died in World War I. The stadium was Geoge Huff's dream. The total cost of Memorial Stadium was $2 million and today the stadium holds roughly 70, 000 people.
